NBIS is excited to announce that we have recently received a Longevity Award from the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA). As the premier provider of specialty insurance for the crane and rigging, concrete pumping, and specialized transportation industries, we at NBIS have worked hard to defend an industry that is often either overlooked or targeted by regulatory bodies and courts.
Our work extends not just to insurance solutions and risk management, but to ensuring fair treatment and practices for the heavy construction industry. We leverage our industry expertise to support our insureds as well as the industry as a whole. This work would not be possible without the continued advocacy and excellence of the SC&RA, of which we have been members for 25 years.
SC&RA recognizes the importance of retention and longevity and annually presents Longevity Awards to member companies who have supported the organization for 25 years or longer. SC&RA’s focus on long-term relationships with its members is clear; as of 2006, the retention rate among members was 94%, compared to the national average of 87%, according to the American Society of Association Executives.
We are immensely proud of our partnership with SC&RA. Throughout our membership, we have been the endorsed provider of property casualty insurance to the members of the Association. During that time, we have worked tirelessly to promote safety and reduce claims among the Association’s members. As President and CFO Bill Tepe said, “NBIS and the Association work hard to improve the risk profile of the member companies and the industry as a whole.”
