Set for February 28 – March 2, at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida, the 2023 SC&RA Specialized Transportation Symposium (STS) will bring together hundreds of heavy haul peers across the OS/OW spectrum and offers opportunities to learn from respected experts (including Larry Minor, Associate Administrator for Policy, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), all of whom will share the latest ideas, products, and solutions.
Each year, this premier event organizes the industry’s foremost specialized transportation professionals and government permitting officials to discuss permitting harmonization, safety, regulations, compliance and some of the most pressing topics in specialized transportation today. Additionally, over the course of three days, STS offers myriad opportunities to network with industry peers, top operations managers, safety directors and managers, pilot car professionals, law enforcement, and state and federal officials.
Without a doubt, attending STS represents a key opportunity to absorb the insight(s) you need to position your company for what’s ahead in safety, permitting, and overall best practices. Moreover, the event offers an exhibit center boasting 60 booths.
An added bonus: as part of the week’s educational track, NBIS’s own Specialized Transportation Program Manager, Bill Hebron, along with Mike Gillen of National Interstate Insurance Company, will present an especially high-value education session Managing Your Risk, a Collaborative Session scheduled for Thursday, March 2, from 12:30 – 2pm.
